FRUIT CAKE COOKIES 
1 lb. light brown sugar
1/2 lb. seedless white raisins
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. sweet milk
2 c. chopped crystalized cherries
7 c. broken pecans
3 well beaten eggs
3 c. plain, sifted flour
1 c. butter
6 slices chopped, crystalized pineapple
2 c. chopped dates
1 tsp. baking soda

Cream butter, sugar and eggs. Add flour, spices and soda with milk alternately. Pour over nuts and fruit and mix by hand. Drop from teaspoon onto well greased cookie sheet. Bake at 300 degrees for 20- 30 minutes. Makes 200.
