1. Prepare a white cake mix according to package directions, using egg whites rather than whole eggs (the colors are nicer when you use the egg whites only.)

2. Split the cake batter equally into 6 cereal bowls. Make each bowl of batter a different color. 1. red; 2. orange (mix red and yellow); 3. yellow; 4. green; 5. blue; 6. purple (mix red and blue).

3. Put paper baking cups into cupcake pan. Put a teaspoon of each color batter into each cupcake cup. ( I do 1 color at a time, i.e., all the red, then yellow etc...)

4. Bake cupcakes according to package directions.

5. Great for kids and parties at school!
