BRUNCH CASSEROLE 
2 lbs. sausage, crumbled & browned
1 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
16 slices white bread, crusts trimmed
7 eggs
3 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. pepper

In a greased 15 x 10 x 2 inch greased baking pan layer bread and sprinkle cheese evenly and then top with cooked sausage. Combine remaining ingredients, mix well and pour over layers. Cover (use foil if pan does not have cover) and refrigerate overnight. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven 30 to 35 minutes, should be lightly browned and firm. Ham (approximately 2 cups diced) or 1 1/2 pounds bacon (cooked and crumbled) can replace the sausage. Serve with fruit or juice and coffee for breakfast or brunch.
