SWEET AND SOUR BAKED BEANS 
8 slices bacon, fried & crumbled
4 lg. onions, cut into rings
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. molasses
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cider vinegar
1 (16 oz.) can dried limas, drained
1 (16 oz.) can green limas, drained
1 (16 oz.) can dark red kidney beans, drained
1 jar New England baked beans

In skillet, separate onion slices, add sugar, molasses, garlic powder, salt and vinegar. Cook 20 minutes, covered. Pour all beans into a 3 quart casserole and mix lightly. Add cooled onion mix, stir and add crumbled bacon. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Freezes well. Serves 12 to 14.
