SWEET & SOUR BAKED BEANS 
8 bacon slices, pan fried until crisp, crumble
4 lg. onions, cut in rings
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cider vinegar
1 (28 oz.) can baked beans (not pork & beans)
1 (15 1/4 oz.) can dark red kidney beans, drained
3 (15 oz.) cans cooked dry butter beans, drained

Place onions in the bacon grease, saute a few minutes, then add sugar, mustard, garlic powder, salt and vinegar. Cook 20 minutes, covered. Add onion mixture to beans with crumbled bacon. Place in 3 quart casserole, bake in moderate oven, 350 degrees for 1 hour or longer in a slow 300 degree oven.
