SWEET AND SOUR BAKED BEANS 
8 slices bacon
2 onions, sliced
1/4 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp. mustard
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. cider vinegar
1 (16 oz.) can butter beans
1 (16 oz.) can green lima beans
1 (16 oz.) can red kidney beans
1 (No. 13) can baked beans

I double this recipe for large groups. Fry bacon until crisp, remove from pan, drain, crumble and set aside. Separate onion sliced into rings and cook in bacon drippings until tender but not brown. Stir in brown sugar, mustard, garlic powder, salt and vinegar. Cover and simmer 20 minutes. Drain, butter beans, lima beans and kidney beans. Mix all beans with onion mixture and bacon and turn into 1 1/2 quart casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. 8 servings.

I cook in a 5 quart crockpot.
