FESTIVE CHERRY SALAD RING 
2 c. canned dark sweet cherries, pitted
1 c. cherry syrup and water
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cherry flavored gelatin
3/4 c. sherry or chianti wine
40 tiny marshmallows or 10 lg. marshmallows, cut in quarters

Drain syrup from cherries into a measure and add water to make one cup. In a saucepan, bring syrup almost to boiling and add to cherry flavored gelatin, stirring until dissolved. Add sherry or Chianti. Pour into an 8 inch ring mild and chill until mixture begins to set. Add pitted cherries and marshmallows. Chill until firm. Unmold. Yield 8 servings. Cal/Serve. = 145.
