BARBECUED SPARE RIBS 
2 pkg. country spare ribs (split it grocers)
1 sliced lg. onion
1 sliced lemon
Salt & pepper

BARBECUE SAUCE:

2 c. catsup
6 tsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
6 tbsp. vinegar
6 tbsp. lemon juice
Salt & pepper to taste
1 c. water

Combine all ingredients for barbecue sauce. Bring to boil and boil slowly for 15 minutes. Put aside.

Place ribs in pan (oblong or glass pyrex). Place sliced onions and lemon on top of ribs. Salt and pepper. Place in hot oven 425-450 degrees for 20-25 minutes until grease is burned out. Remove from oven and carefully drain fat. Turn oven down to 350 degrees. Pour barbecue sauce over ribs, cover with tin foil, bake at 350 degrees for 1-1 1/2 hours removing tin foil the last 20 minutes.
