BRAN MUFFINS 
2 c. Nabisco 100% Bran
4 c. Kellogg's All Bran
2 c. boiling water
1 c. butter
3 c. sugar
4 eggs
5 c. sifted flour
5 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. lemon juice
3 1/4 c. milk
Dates or nuts (opt.)

Mix cereals and water and let soak 5 minutes. Cream butter, sugar and eggs. Mix lemon juice and milk together. Add dry ingredients and milk mixture alternately to creamed mixture. Stir in cereal. Put 1/3 cup in each muffin cup. Bake in 350 degree oven. Makes 5 dozen muffins. Freezes well.
