ALL-BRAN MUFFINS | |
2 c. boiling water 2 c. Nabisco 100% Bran 3 c. sugar 4 eggs, beaten 1 qt. buttermilk 1 c. oil or melted butter 5 c. flour 5 tsp. baking soda 4 c. Kellogg's All Bran 1 tsp. salt Pour water over bran. Cream sugar, eggs, buttermilk and shortening and add to bran. Add flour, soda, All-Bran and salt. Makes 1 gallon. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes in regular muffin pans or 10 minutes in mini muffin pans. Store mixture in refrigerator in covered container. Raisins or dates may be added before baking. Will keep 3 to 4 weeks. |
