BRAN MUFFINS 
2 sticks butter
2 c. boiling water

Combine above and cool.

3 c. sugar
3 tsp. salt
4 eggs
3 tsp. baking soda
2 c. Kellogg's All-Bran
4 c. Nabisco 100% Bran
5 c. flour
1 qt. buttermilk

Mix all ingredients, adding flour and buttermilk alternately. Fill greased muffin tins 2/3 full and bake at 425 degrees for 20-25 minutes, depending on size of pans. Batter may be stored in tightly covered containers up to 6 weeks and baked as needed. Makes 48 muffins.
