APPLE-NUT STUFFED PORK CHOPS 
1/2 c. butter
1/3 c. chopped onion
1/3 c. chopped walnuts
1/3 c. chopped apple
1 c. water
8 oz. pkg. dried, crumbly style, herb seasoned stuffing
6 (2 to 2 1/4-inch thick) center cut pork chops, with 1 1/2 to 2-inch pocket cut
2 tbsp. butter

Heat oven to 350°F. In 10-inch skillet, melt 1/2 cup butter until sizzling; add onion. Cook over medium heat until tender (4 to 5 minutes). Remove from heat. Stir in walnuts, apple, water and stuffing. Fill pockets in pork chops with stuffing. In same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons butter. Brown pork chops on both sides; place in 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Cover; bake for 60 to 70 minutes or until no longer pink and thermometer reaches 170°F.
