GARLIC BREAD | |
1 loaf French bread (about 12-inches long; Italian or sourdough bread may be used) 1/4 c. olive oil 3 or 4 cloves garlic, minced 1/4 tsp. dried oregano laves fresh ground black pepper 2 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese Heat the oven to 375°F. Halve the bread lengthwise. In a small bowl, stir the oil, oregano, garlic and pepper. Spread on bread. Wrap each half in foil, leaving the tops uncovered. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake for 25 minutes until golden and crusted. With a serrated knife, cut each half into 6 pieces. Serves 6. |
