CABBAGE PATCH SOUP 
2 lbs. ground beef
3 med. tomatoes or 1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
1 c. chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 c. chopped green pepper
2 tbsp. chili powder
1 tbsp. chopped parsley
1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
3 beef bouillon cubes
10 c. water
1 tsp. oregano
Salt and pepper
1 lg. head cabbage, chopped

In large pot brown beef, onions, garlic and green pepper. Drain off grease. Add tomatoes, chili powder, oregano, parsley, beans, tomato paste and salt and pepper. Dissolve bouillon cubes in 2 cups boiling water, add to soup along with 8 cups of water and the cabbage. Bring to a boil - reduce heat and simmer. Even better the next day!
