MEETING STREET CRAB 
1 lb. white crab meat
4 tbsp. butter
4 tbsp. flour
1/2 pt. cream
4 tbsp. sherry
3/4 c. sharp grated cheese
Salt and pepper to taste

Make cream sauce with the butter, flour and cream. Add salt, pepper and sherry. Remove from fire and add crab meat. Pour the mixture into a chafing dish. Serve with waverly wafers.
