MEETING STREET CRAB 
2 lb. crabmeat
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. flour
2 c. heavy cream
1/2 c. sherry
Salt & pepper to taste
1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese

Melt butter in top of double boiler. Blend in flour. Add cream and stir with wire whisk until thick. Add sherry, salt and pepper. Remove from heat. Pour mixture into buttered 2 quart casserole. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly. Do not overbake. Can be made with shrimp or combination seafood.
