CREOLE FRANKS - MABEL 
5 slices bacon, diced
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 c. unsweetened pineapple juice
3/4 c. catsup
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1 1/2 lb. hot dogs
1/4 c. chopped green pepper

Cook bacon but do not crisp. Add chopped onion and cook until tender but not brown. Stir in juice, catsup, and chili powder. Slice hot dogs diagonally at 1 inch intervals and add to the sauce. Cover and bring to boil. Add green pepper and simmer 8 to 10 minutes. Serves 6.

Can be served separately or over rice.

Kielbasa may be substituted for hot dogs.
