COLUMBIA CABBAGE CASSEROLE 
1 med. onion, chopped
3 tbsp. butter
1 lb. hamburger, fry with onion
Salt to taste
1 med. head cabbage
1 can cream of tomato soup (add no water)

Brown meat until crumbly. Coarsely shred the cabbage into 2 quart casserole. Pour meat on top; toss lightly. Mix seasonings into the soup. Pour over mixture of cabbage, meat, and onion. Pile cabbage high because it will cook down about 1/3.
