GINGER BAKED BEANS 
1 lg. can (52 or 55 oz.) pork & beans
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 med. green bell pepper, chopped
1 lg. tomato, chopped
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. Vernors

In large holed colander, drain most of liquid from pork and beans. Pour beans into baking dish and add onion, green pepper and tomato; mix gently. In small bowl, combine brown sugar and Vernors and stir until sugar is dissolved. Pour evenly over bean mixture and bake at 350 degrees about 35 minutes. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
