KAROL'S VARIATION ON MOM'S BAKED BEANS | |
1 lb. ground chuck 1 med. green bell pepper, chopped 1 med. onion, chopped 42 oz. can pork & beans 2/3 c. barbecue sauce 1 tsp. finely ground dry mustard 6-8 tbsp. brown sugar Brown beef. Add bell pepper and onion until tender, drain off fat. Add pork and beans, barbecue sauce, ground dry mustard and brown sugar. Simmer on stove top for approximately 30 minutes. Serves 8. |
