MOM'S FAVORITE BEAN SALAD 
1 (1 lb.) can green beans, drained
1 (1 lb.) can yellow wax beans, drained
1 (1 lb.) can red kidney beans, drained
1/2 c. green bell pepper, chopped
2 tbsp. onions, chopped
3/4 c. sugar
2/3 c. vinegar, apple cider
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper

Drain first three ingredients and place in bowl. Measure into quart jar remaining ingredients. Shake mixture in jar and pour over beans. Mix, cover, and marinate overnight or until ice cold. Will serve 10 helpings. Doubled recipe fills large salad bowl for picnics. Optional addition: May add 1 can garbanzo beans.
