SAUSAGE BALLS IN CHEESE PASTRY 
1 lb. hot or milk bulk pork sausage
3/4 c. dry bread crumbs
1/3 c. chicken broth
1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning
1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. paprika
2 c. (8 oz.) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 c. butter

Combine first 5 ingredient, mix well. Shape into 1 inch balls. Bake in 350 degree oven until done. Drain on paper towels. Combine flour, salt, paprika, and cheese. Cut in butter (mixture will be dry). Mix with hands until dough is smooth. Shape 1 tablespoon dough around each sausage ball, covering sausage completely. (May be frozen at this point. To serve, thaw and bake.) Place on greased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
