HONEY - BRAN MUFFINS 
1 1/2 c. shreds of wheat bran cereal
1 c. milk
1 egg, beaten
1/3 c. honey
1/3 c. butter, melted
1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 c. chopped pitted dates
1/2 c. raisins

Combine cereal and milk; let stand 5 minutes. Stir in beaten egg, honey, and butter. Combine flour and remaining ingredients in a large bowl; make a well in center of mixture. Add cereal mixture, stirring just until moistened.

Spoon mixture into greased muffin pans, filling 3/4 full. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes or until done. Remove from pans immediately. Yield: 15 muffins.
