APRICOT BARS 
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. quick-cooking rolled oats
3/4 c. (1 1/2 sticks) butter
1 c. apricot jam

Mix together flour, baking powder, brown sugar and rolled oats. Cut in butter until crumbly. Put 2/3 of mixture into a greased 9x13-inch pan. Spread mixture with apricot jam. Cover with remaining crumb mixture. Bake at 350°F for 35 minutes. Cool and cut into bars.

Makes 2 dozen bars.
