RAISIN PUFF COOKIES 
2 c. raisins
1 c. water
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3 to 3 1/2 c. flour

Boil raisins and water together until water is gone. Cream sugar and butter together. Add eggs and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and raisins. Form into balls the size of small walnuts and roll in granulated sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Makes about 100 cookies. Freezes well.
