VINTAGE FRUIT SAUCE 
1 lg. can sliced peaches
1 lg. can pineapple tidbits
1 bottle maraschino cherries
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 pkg. yeast

In a quart jar, layer 3/4 cup drained peaches, 3/4 cup drained pineapple tidbits, 6 cherries cut in 1/2, 1 1/2 cups sugar, and 1 package yeast. Stir several times 1st day and then once a day for 2 weeks.

Then make Sauce: To 1 cup fermented fruit, add 1/2 cup peaches, 1/2 cup pineapple tidbits, 6 cherries, and 1 cup sugar. Combine and store on counter, stirring daily for 1 week. Delicious on ice cream and pound cake.
