SCOTT'S SNICKERDOODLES 
1 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. salt

Cream together butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Sift flour, baking soda, cream of tartar, and salt. Add sifted ingredients with creamed mixture. Beat only until blended. chill dough for 15 minutes, then shape into small balls and roll them into 2 tablespoons cinnamon and 2 tablespoons sugar mixture. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
