ED AND SCOTT'S BIRTHDAY
SHISHKABOB
 
Fresh large mushrooms
1 lb. lamb per person
1 onion
Salt
Oregano
Italian red pepper
1/2 c. wine
2 tbsp. olive oil
1 green pepper per person
Cherry tomatoes

Cut lamb into 1 1/2 inch cubes (from leg of lamb). Place in big bowl. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add 1 rounded tablespoon oregano for each leg of lamb. Cut onion in thin strips and place in bowl with meat. Pour all the wine and oil over all; mix well. Marinate in refrigerator overnight.

Skewer beginning with meat, tomatoes, pepper and mushrooms. Broil 20 minutes over a good bed of coals.
