SAVORY ROAST | |
Salt & pepper 1 (3-4 lb.) roast 2 tbsp. vegetable oil 1/2 c. catsup 1/2 c. vinegar 4 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 4 tbsp. soy sauce 1 tsp. garlic salt 1/4 tsp. dry mustard Lightly salt and pepper the roast. In an electric skillet, sear roast in the hot oil until browned on all sides. In a saucepan, combine all other ingredients and bring to a boil. Pour hot sauce over the hot roast; cover and simmer for 1-1 1/2 hours or until tender. |
