TANGY OATMEAL COOKIES 
3 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. oatmeal
1/2 c. wheat germ
1 c. dried apricots, chopped
1/2 c. sliced almonds

Cream together butter, sugars and eggs. Add flour, salt, cinnamon, soda; mix well. Stir in oats, wheat germ, apricots and almonds. Drop by heaping teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Yield: approximately 5 dozen.
