BANANA BREAD | |
3/4 c. butter 1 1/2 c. sugar 1 c. mashed ripe bananas (be very generous) 2 eggs, beaten 1 tsp. vanilla 2 c. flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 c. buttermilk 1/2 c. chopped nuts 1/2 tsp. salt Combine butter and sugar; blend in bananas, eggs, and vanilla. Sift together flour, soda, and salt. Add alternately to creamed mixture with buttermilk. Pour into 2 small greased and floured bread pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour. |
