BANANA BREAD 
2 1/2 c. whole wheat pastry flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. (each) nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves & ginger
1/4 c. molasses, unsulfured
1/3 c. honey
1/2 c. butter
1/8 c. oil
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/4 c. buttermilk
1 c. ripe bananas
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Mix flour, baking powder, soda and spices. Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat. Cool room temperature.

In a separate bowl mix cooled butter, honey, molasses, oil, eggs and buttermilk. Add to the flour mixture and mix only until moist. Stir bananas and nuts. Grease loaf pan. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
