"ORIGINAL" STAR MANGO SORBET (IN
A BLENDER)
 
3 large mangoes, chunked and frozen
2 egg yolks (optional; may sub w/ Egg Beaters)
1 tbsp. cream or milk (optional)
1/2 cup lime juice

SIMPLE SYRUP:

1 scant cup sugar
3/4 cup water

In a medium saucepan, combine sugar and water. Bring to a boil for 5 minutes, stirring mixture. Pour the sugar and water (now simple syrup) in a container, refrigerate to cool.

Put the frozen mangoes, egg yolks or Egg Beaters (optional), milk (optional), and lime juice in the blender, combine chilled simple syrup. Blend. Pour mixture into a sealed container and freeze until set (2+ hours).
