TUNA NOODLE CASSEROLE
7 c. water
8 oz. (about 4 c.) uncooked noodles
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 c. milk
1 (6 1/2 oz.) can tuna fish, drained
1 (16 oz.) can green peas, drained
1 c. (4 oz.) cheese

In saucepan bring water to a boil. Add noodles and cook 8-10 minutes until tender. Stir occasionally to keep from sticking. Drain in a colander or by pouring off water.

In a medium saucepan, melt butter. Stir in flour and pepper. Add milk. Cook and stir over medium heat until thick and bubbly.

In a large bowl, combine cooked noodles, milk mixture, tuna and peas. Stir until ingredients are well mixed. Pour into large ovenproof baking dish. Cover with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Makes about 8 servings, 1 cup each.
