SOUR CREAM COOKIES 
1/2 lb. sweet butter
1/2 lb. shortening
1 pt. sour cream
6 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. baking powder
Canned "Solo" prune or strawberry filling or nut filling

Cream butter and shortening in large bowl until fluffy; add sour cream and mix well. Add flour, salt and powder; mix together. Form into 2 balls. Refrigerate covered for 2 hours. Roll out 1/2 inch thick; cut into 3 inch squares.

Put 1/2 teaspoon filling on each square; fold corners over. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Makes 12 dozen.

For nut filling grind 1 pound walnuts, mix with 1 cup sugar and just enough water to moisten.
