OATMEAL BUNS 
2 c. boiling water
3 tbsp. oil (or lard)
2 tsp. salt
1 pkg. yeast
1 c. rolled oats
2/3 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. warm water
5 to 5 1/2 c. flour

Pour boiling water over rolled oats and cool to luke warm. Add salad oil, sugar and salt. Add yeast to warm water. Then add yeast to mixture. Beat in flour and make soft dough. Let rise twice. Make into balls. Let rise again. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Let the tops brown or they will be soggy.
