Barbecue sauce

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cover the bottom of a Magnalite pot with oil. Put the seasoned rabbit in the pot and bake covered for 1 hour. Then cook uncovered until brown. When it starts to brown, put some barbecue sauce on both sides of rabbit. Cook about 1/2 hour longer. Mix a little more barbecue sauce and water. Pour this over the rabbit and bake a few minutes longer. If there is not enough gravy, add a little more sauce and water and cook on the stove to make the gravy.
