PUMPKIN BARS | |
1 c. salad oil 2 c. sugar 4 eggs 2 c. flour 1 tsp. baking soda 2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 2 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 c. chopped nuts, more if you like them 2 c. pumpkin Mix all ingredients in order given, creaming oil and sugar, adding beaten eggs, then the dry ingredients which have been sifted together. Add nuts and pumpkin last. Pour into large deep, jelly roll pan. Bake at 350 degrees oven about 15 minutes, depending on your oven, you might need to bake a few minutes longer if oven is cooler. Toothpick should come out clean. FROSTING: 1 (8 oz.) pkg. Philadelphia cream cheese 3/4 stick butter 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tbsp. milk 2 c. powdered sugar |
