1 cup butter
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup powdered sugar
2-1/3 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup finely chopped nuts
1 package Hershey's Kisses
powdered sugar

Beat in egg, vanilla and powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Blend in flour and nuts. Make teacakes by shaping 1 tbsp. dough around 1 unwrapped kiss. Arrange 12 teacakes on wax paper in oven, 1 inch apart. Microwave for 5 to 6 minutes or until no longer doughy. Roll in powdered sugar and cool.

Cooks Note: if dough has been refrigerated, increase cooking time about 1 min. This is a simple, quick, and easy recipe for cookies. The children will love to help with this one.
