PHILADELPHIA BUTTER BUNS 
1 c. scalded milk
1 cake yeast
1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. shortening
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
Grated rind one lemon
1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. butter, melted butter
Cinnamon and sugar

Cool scalded milk, dissolve yeast and add 1 1/2 cup flour. Let stand until light. Add sugar, shortening salt, rind, egg and 1 1/2 cup flour. Knead until smooth. Let dough rise until light. Roll dough out until thin, spread with melted butter and cinnamon and sugar. Roll and cut in 1/2 inch pieces. In iron pan (or Corningware) put 1/2 cup butter (melted) and 1/4 cup sugar. Place cut dough in pan on top of sugar and butter. Let rise. Bake at 275 for 1 hour. Great for breakfast.
