CHOCOLATE PUDDIN' CAKE 
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2/3 c. granulated sugar
6 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. melted shortening or butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 c. brown sugar, packed

This must be made in conventional oven to make the fudge sauce under the puddin' cake.

Sift flour, baking powder, salt, granulated sugar, 2 tablespoons cocoa, and milk, melted butter, vanilla. Mix until smooth only. Add pecans. Put in greased 1 quart dish. Mix brown sugar and 4 tablespoons cocoa well. Sprinkle over mixture. Pour 1 1/2 cups boiling water over top. Bake 40 minutes.
