2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 qt. applesauce (home canned & chunky)
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves and nutmeg
1 c. walnuts, chopped
2/3 c. butter
3 c. flour
2 c. raisins

Mix in order. Pour into a big flat sheet cake (10 1/2 x 15 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches). Bake slowly at 350 degrees for 1 hour, or until done.
