SOFT SOUR CREAM DATE NUT COOKIES 
2 c. brown sugar or 1 c. brown and 1 c. white sugar
1 c. butter
2 eggs
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3 1/2 c. flour (unsifted)
1 1/2 c. dates
1 c. nuts

Cream sugar, butter, eggs and sour cream. Sift all dry ingredients together. Add to cream mixture with dates and nuts. Drop on cookie sheets and bake at 350°F for 15 minutes or until done.
