GERMAN SAUERKRAUT 
1 lg. can Silver Floss sauerkraut
6 strips bacon
1 med. size onion
1 med. size potato

Open can of sauerkraut and drain off juice. Empty contents into a pan. Cover with water and drain again. Cover with water and add 1 tbsp. salt and diced onion. Cook for 30 minutes.

Dice bacon and render in frying pan. Add bacon and fat to sauerkraut. Cook for 10 minutes. Grate raw potato and add to sauerkraut. Cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
