COLLARD GREENS | |
2 lb. hocks or salt pork 3 lb. collard greens 1 red pod pepper, small 1 bell pepper 2 tsp. bacon drippings Salt to taste Place meat in pot. Cover with water and boil for 1 hour. Clean and wash greens thoroughly. Add to meat with other ingredients. Bring to boil and cook until tender - one hour or more. |
