COLLARD GREENS | |
2 lb. hocks or salt pork 3 lb. collard greens 1 sm. red pod pepper 1 bell pepper 2 tsp. bacon drippings Salt to taste Place meat in pot. Cover with water and boil for 1 hour. Clean and wash greens thoroughly. Add to meat with other ingredients. Bring to boil and cook until tender, 1 hour or more. |
