PRALINE SAUCE (MICROWAVE)
1 1/4 c. chopped pecans (coarse)
7 tbsp. butter
1 1/4 c. packed light brown sugar
3 tbsp. all-purpose flour
3/4 c. light corn syrup
1 (5 oz.) can or 2/3 c. evaporated milk

Microwave pecans and 3 tablespoons butter in 11 1/2" x 7 1/2" dish on high 8 to 10 minutes. Stir twice. Should be lightly golden. Put remaining butter in 4 cup microwave safe bowl. Microwave on high 45 to 60 seconds until butter melts. Whisk in brown sugar and flour, then the syrup until thoroughly blended. Microwave on high 6 to 8 minutes, stirring twice until thickened. Let stand 2 minutes. Then with long handled spoon, stir in milk and pecans, carefully. Cool slightly, pour into clean hot jars or covered containers. Makes 3 cups. Great for gifts. Serve warm or cold.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
