1 lb. crab meat 12 oz. frozen or fresh asparagus, cooked 1 c. dairy sour cream 1/4 c. mayonnaise 1 tbsp. lemon juice 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese Paprika for garnish Preheat oven to 350 F. Remove shell and cartilage from crab meat. In a 1 quart saucepan, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt and cayenne pepper. Cook over low heat for 4 minutes. Arrange cooked asparagus in a 12x8x12 inch baking dish. Place crab meat over asparagus. Pour sauce over all and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 350 oven for 20 minutes. Sprinkle with paprika. Yield: 4 servings. |
