BROCCOLI AND BEEF STIR FRY 
1 1/2 lb. broccoli
1/2 to 1 lb. round steak
5 tbsp. vegetable oil
1/2 tsp. salt
2 bouillon cubes
1/4 c. water
1 tsp. cornstarch, premix with 2 tbsp. water
1/4 tsp. chopped ginger
2 cloves garlic, chopped

MARINATE FOR MEAT:

1 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tsp. rice wine
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. cornstarch

Combine marinate ingredients. Slice round steak into thin strips across grain of meat. Place in marinate while you prepare other ingredients. Cut broccoli flower into 2 or 4 pieces. Cut stems crosswise.

Heat wok and 2 tablespoons oil. Add garlic and ginger. Stir fry a few seconds. Add beef until red is gone. Remove from wok. Heat wok and 3 tablespoons oil and salt. Add broccoli, stir fry. Toss to coat oil on broccoli. Add bouillon and stir fry. Add water and cover to cook about 2 to 3 minutes. Return beef with broccoli. Add cornstarch and stir fry a few more minutes. Serve with rice.
