ALMOND CAKE SQUARES 
3 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 c. melted butter

ALMOND TOPPING:

1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. sliced almonds
1 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. milk

Combine eggs and sugar. Beat with mixer until thick. Stir in flour and butter; pour into greased and floured 9x13x2 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Spread topping over cake. Broil 4 inches from heat for 3-5 minutes or until top is golden brown. Cool; cut into 2-inch squares. Yield: 2 dozen.

ALMOND TOPPING: Combine all ingredients in small pan. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until mixture thickens.
